Celtest granted Fit for Nuclear status

We have been granted Fit for Nuclear (F4N) status following a journey of benchmarking our processes and performance against the standards as set out by the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC). F4N is designed to help companies win contracts in the civil nuclear supply chain by measuring their operations against exacting industry standards to supply the nuclear industry in new build, operations and decommissioning.

The F4N programme, included a detailed analysis of our business processes and competence within the civil nuclear sector, which involved on-site verification visits by an F4N assessor. Following Fit for Nuclear approval, we are now listed on the online directory of F4N companies.

“The Fit for Nuclear accreditation demonstrates our commitment to business growth in the nuclear sector, and it also reinforces our commitment to ensuring we have robust quality and health and safety systems in place. I’d like to thank our Quality Management Systems co-ordinator Liz Ducker who was heavily involved in collating and presenting the vast material required, I would also like to thank our Health and Safety co-ordinator David Jones for his work in helping us meet the requirements over the last 12+ months”. Iwan Morgan, Business Development Manager.

As one of the UK’s leading construction materials testing companies, Celtest’s specialist decommissioning services, and our UKAS accredited testing laboratories have been extensively involved in numerous projects in the civil nuclear field since the 1990’s.
